The Doug Hannon $10,000 Celebrity Fishing Series Tournament takes place on the weekend of Oct. 23 & 24. It’s hosted by celebrity Doug Hannon, Hall of Fame fisherman, and ESPN tv personality.

Entry fee is $350 with a portion of the proceeds going to the Coastal Conservation Association.

You can register at www.NationalSportfishing.org or in person at New Port Richie Hooters on Thursday Oct. 22nd from 7-9pm.

Events: On October 23 to 25th, 2009 the 12th Annual Pediatric Cancer Foundation Grand Slam Celebrity Fishing Tournament takes place at the beautiful Vinoy Resort in St. Petersburg, FL. It’s hosted by Wade Boggs, Major League Baseball Hall of Famer, and promises to be a great weekend of fun, food, and of course, fishing.
